Hi!

On this web site you will find information about the facilities in each room as well as those for common use.  In addition you'll find the detailed geography of the building.  If you are interested in booking one of the rooms don't hesitate to fill out the on-line reservation form below.  These forms will be processed in the order they arrive at our office, and after confirmation of room availability the room will be reserved for you.

Every room is fitted out with a sink (with warm and cold water), bed, sofa, desk, desk chair, desk light, book case, and ward robe.  There is a kitchen on an intermediate level between first and second floor, and also two shower rooms and two toilets on an intermediate level between second and third floor.  The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your meals.  The common areas are cleaned biweekly, kitchen towels and bath mats are cleaned weekly, and toilet paper and waste disposal bags are replenished regularly.  It is the student's responsibility to keep the room itself clean and tidy, and to clean the kitchen's cooking plates and utensils after use.  The required tools are provided.  Feel free to go through the floor plans in more detail.

A washing saloon across the street provides facilities for washing and drying your laundry.  In the recreation room is a TV and a computer with which you can access the internet via broadband cable, free for you to use whenever and however long you wish.  Furthermore, a public telephone (for incoming calls) has been installed.

Optionally cable TV can be provided in the room itself.

Pillows and blankets are standard provided.  Bed linen can be provided on request basis.

On arrival you will receive from us a folder with essential information about the building, the neighbourhood, shops in the area, public transport, and a map of Antwerp with tourist information.

Options

If you prefer cable TV access inside your room we can set this up for you.  In case you want cable TV access but don't have your own TV set we can let you rent a 22" TV set at 10 euros per month after payment of a deposit of 150 euros.  Internet access in the room requires for your PC to have a network card (UTP, 10Mbps minimum).  If you don't have a network card we can help you get one.  Due to up/download capacity limits set by our Internet Service Provider the use of file sharing programs is limited according to the contract.
